2013 - 2015 "@peace"
An on-going collaborative project with the landscape architect, Lily Jencks, for a large scale Public park glass sculpture commissioned by Rubis Mécénat Cultural Fund. The monumental curved etched glass is based on the @ sign. A universal symbol in contemporary culture, the use of the @ sign plays on its connotation as a destination, most often associated with immediacy in the digital world, and transforms it into a physical space intended for reflection and relaxation. It becomes a destination in a physical sense, as you can enter inside the sculpture, and a destination in the immaterial sense, where you can reflect or simply relax -@Peace.
