Challenging our sense of perception, and of space, "a-r-o-s-e" is definitely an homage to life and nature and the hallucinatory nature of the world.
In collaboration with landscape architect Lily Jencks "a-r-o-s-e" is a monumental glass sculpture, an utopian light space. It is intended as an ever-changing visual and physical experience.
Art work commissioned by Rubis Mécénat Cultural Fund, it is a work of art about light and nature, offering to the viewer and the walker a new way to apprehend light and the environment. The sculpture has a dynamic floating movement, giving a sense of speed and fluidity. It also has the fragility of a drawing that floats suspended in midair.
